Vietnam receives the largest ever US business delegation
Many of the leading US corporations in energy, technology, defense, aviation, manufacturing, agribusiness, healthcare, financial services, and investment funds are visiting and working in Vietnam.
Today (March 18), the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) hosted a Press Meeting to commemorate the US High-Level Business Delegation’s visit and activities in Vietnam in 2025. This business delegation consists of prominent US corporations in energy, technology, defense, aviation, manufacturing, agribusiness, healthcare, financial services, and investment funds.
There are 64 US enterprises moving to Vietnam, including well-known corporations like Apple, Boeing, Intel, Nike, Amazon, Pacifico Energy, and Meta…
“As part of his working trip to the US to work with the US Trade Representative (USTR), the Department of Energy (DOE) and relevant agencies, the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony and announcement of cooperation agreements, contracts for the purchase of machinery, equipment, raw materials, services, and goods between Vietnamese and US enterprises,” said Ambassador Ted Osius, President of the US-ASEAN Business Council, during the event’s opening ceremony.
Mr. Ted Osius anticipates that numerous delegations from Vietnam and other nations will visit the United States in the near future to take part in Select USA, the country’s premier event for promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) in the United States.
Vietnam’s economy is expanding at the quickest rate in Southeast Asia, drawing record amounts of foreign direct investment, according to the president of the US-ASEAN Business Council. At the moment, Vietnam is the eighth-largest trading partner of the United States, while the United States is the second-largest trading partner of Vietnam. Representatives of other sizable businesses also reaffirmed their steadfast commitment to investing in Vietnam throughout the event.
Business leaders think Vietnam has a lot of potential for offshore wind power development, and they want to lead the charge in working with Vietnam to improve energy security and open the door for more possible investors.
Representatives of the Pacifico Group also reaffirmed their belief that further U.S.-Vietnam energy cooperation will contribute to improved energy security in Vietnam and further solidify the two nations’ previous Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
